They will act as an essential part of the restaurant working in the background to keep service flowing smoothly. Daily Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize plates/dishes/pans and smallwares throughout each shift, ensuring that all items are cleaned and put away at the end of each shift
• Orchestrate the proper cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen
• Additional cleaning responsibilities include the organization of the plateware/pots and pans as well as coolers and storage rooms.
• Report to the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef and receive lists from them for cleaning duties for the kitchen.
• Sweep each walk-in at the end of each shift.
• Assist in the cleaning of the kitchen on a daily basis.
• Assist with gathering necessary utensils, plates, etc. for every service
• De-grease ovens.
• Rotate through each walk-in to ensure each one is clean and sanitized.
• Keep immediate supervisor advised of any maintenance issues. Follow the monthly cleaning schedule.
• Remove dirty linen bags, trash, bus tubs and glasses as needed
• Assist with cleaning of service areas to include sweeping, mopping, trash removal as needed
• Other duties as assigned
